Tigard Youth Soccer Spring Recreational Programs

Outdoor recreational spring soccer begins it's third year!  The program is open to all  players in
K-8th grade, regardless of soccer ability.
Since, Tualatin is not organizing teams in the spring, we welcome players from the entire Tigard/Tualatin School District area.  
Teams are formed by grade and gender. 

COST: $100

DEADLINE: Players registering after February 15th will be added to teams as space permits

PLAYER REQUESTS: Players can request a coach (except at K-2) and up to two friends, in the request field of the registration. (we do our best to accomodate requests, but in some cases it may not be possible)  K-2 practices will be academy style and at games we will divide players up at that time and ask a parent/coach to help.  

GAMES: 7 game season will start the first weekend of April and play until the 3rd weekend of May.

Grades 3-8 will play home games at Cook Park  Games will begin April 4th.  
(Away games will be played as a part of Tualatin Hills Junior Soccer League.)
All 3-8th Grade teams will practice once during the week starting the week of March 30th.  

Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
We will start the first week of April and play 7 weeks.  
Practices will be academy style and last for 45 minutes.

Practices will be at Alberta Rider Elementary School in the back.

1st Grade Boys: Tuesday, 5-5:45 PM
1st Grade Girls: Tuesday, 6-6:45 PM
Kindergarten Girls: Wednesday, 5-5:45 PM
Kindergarten Boys: Wednesday, 6-6:45 PM
2nd Grade Boys: Thursday, 5-5:45 PM
2nd Grade Girls: Thursday, 6-6:45 PM

Games will be on Saturdays, mostly at Tigard H.S. Soccer Turf from 8-10 AM,  unless otherwise noted.
Games will be for 50 minutes.  
Game days, players will be separated into teams. 

Coaches must pass a background check.  If you have been approved in the fall, then you are ok.  If you did not complete it in the fll, you must complete it for the spring.    The background check includes Abuse Training and Concussion certification.

Game times TBA

All players need a uniform consisting of one green and one white shirt, black shorts, and black socks.  In addition players need soccer cleats for grass, a ball, shin guards, and a water bottle.  Uniforms need to be bought at Tursi's Soccer Supply.  Equipment can be bought at Tursi's or Dick's Sporting Goods.
