Registration is now open for our recreational indoor soccer program. The cost for the season is $85 which includes 2 practice (games) and as many as 14 regular season games. (click Register Here button in left menu to register)

INDOOR SOCCER PROGRAM
The program is open to all children, from K-12th grade that register, regardless of soccer ability or where they live. The teams are CO-ED and formed by grade. While we attempt to schedule each team for two games per week, this is subject to the number of teams in the bracket and school closures. Games will be played at schools in Tigard and Tualatin on weekdays.
This is a recreational program, where having fun is more important than winning.
IMPORTANT DATES
· Deadline for registering: February 12th 2012. Players registering after February 12th will be put on a waiting list
· Coaches meeting: Wednesday March 7th 2012
· Season begins March 26th
COACH’S INFO
All coaches are required to attend the Coaches Meeting where they will get their team rosters. This is a good time to ask questions about the program and to get to know the organizing committee.
The coaches’ meeting is scheduled for Wednesday March 7th at 7:00pm at the SSC office.
All coaches must complete and pass a background check. This can be found on the SSC website under recreational soccer.
Program success depends on the involvement of interested adults.
Volunteer coaches are desperately needed. We must have a coach for every seven kids registered.
If a coach is not found, the team will be disbanded and the players placed on different teams.
No experience or prior indoor soccer knowledge is necessary. Information and training will be provided for coaches through the website and SSC’s professional coaching staff.
UNIFORM INFORMATION
Players can use a SSC recreational uniform. All players must have both Navy and White uniforms. Each player should wear the ‘official’ white t-shirt when they are the visiting team and the ‘official’ blue t-shirt when they are the home team.
Uniforms can be purchased at Tursis’s Soccer Store located at 3970 Mercantile Dr, Lake Oswego, OR 97035.
PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
NO FOOD, DRINK, DISPOSABLE WATER BOTTLES, CHAIRS OR OTHER OBSTRUCTIONS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE GYMS.
Siblings attending games must be supervised and remain with the parent in the gym.
You will not be asked to bring team snacks. In partnership with our school districts, this decision has been made to minimize litter.
FUNDRAISING AND PICTURES
Participants in the Spring Rec indoor program are expected to participate in one fundraising event as well as team pictures.
