  • Camp 1: June 28th - July 1st

  • Camp 2: July 12th - 15th

  • Camp 3: July 26th - 29th

Times:

  • U6-U9: 9am - 12pm

  • U10 - U14: 9am - 3pm

Cost:

  • U6-U9 $105 for one camp. $189 for two camps. $268 for a all camps.
  • U10-U14 $135 for one camp. $243 for two camps. $344 for a all camps.

Location

  • Tigard High School Swim Center

Schedule – Daily Breakdown

1. Check-in at 9:00am; Introduction and Morning soccer presentation

2. Demonstration of the Skill of the Day

3. Campers will be divided by age/ability and will be placed with a soccer coach

4. Age appropriate drills will be performed by each group, focusing on the Turn or Move of the Day

5. Snack time: 10:30am – 10:45am (kindergarten – 3rd grade campers will be checked out at noon)

6. Lunch time (for older campers): 12:pm – 1pm

7. Short skill test

8. Coach Competition where the kids get to cheer for the Camp Coach.

9. World Cup Games for the Full Day Campers

World Cup Games will allow players to practice and improve the skills learned earlier in the day. Coaches will watch for “teachable moments” that pertain to training to those skills.

Curriculum

The academy will include lots of fun sessions to teach passing, juggling, dribbling and other basic soccer skills. We believe that the foundation for all developing soccer players is sound, fundamental technical ability. We believe all players should be taught how to apply technique and how to practice by coaches who can properly demonstrate soccer skills.

Players will be grouped for small-sided games to practice the skills practiced above. Games will include 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and larger groups.

        These players work well with young children. In addition to coaching,

        they can demonstrate correct soccer moves and awesome skills.

 

Futsal Academy

New for 2010... What do Ronaldihno, Robinho, Ronaldo and Kaka have in common? (Besides being Brazilian)

 

They all mastered their skills playing futsal.

 

SSC introduces FUTSAL, the way it was meant to be played, on an indoor hardwood surface.

 

This program is the first of its kind in Oregon and it is open to U10-U14 soccer players interested in improving their skills. Emphasis will be put on improving first touch, precision passing and creative dribbling.

  • When: Start date coming soon.

  • Where: Hazelbrook Middle School

  • Time: Session A U10-U12 from 6:00pm-7:00pm Session B U13-U14 7:00pm-8:00pm

  • What to bring: Indoor or running shoes (no cleats or turf shoes) and water

  • Cost: $40 for 8 session season
