Dear Southside Soccer Club Member,

 

I am writing to you on behalf of Southside Soccer Club, a non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun environment for kids to experience the joys of participating in team sports. We accomplish this by offering two main opportunities to play, which are recreational and competitive. Last year, we had over 2000 players registered with the club.

 

On May 9th 2010, we hold tryouts for our competitive program and recreational soccer registrations are currently ongoing. Due to economic stress on many of our households, our scholarships requests have tripled from this time last year. We would greatly appreciate a donation to our scholarship fund, to minimize the chance of us having to turn kids away for lack of money. We believe money should never be the reason for a child not to play. This is where you come in. With your donation you can have the satisfaction of knowing that you have given the gift of soccer to a player in your community.
